Hi,
I am a neurosurgeon of 10 years experience and orthopaedic surgeon with seventeen years experience.
I know that the general public is always confused to choose the right speciality whenever they suffer from back pain or neck pain or if someone they know meet with an accident and sustain a spine fracture.
Some believe that orthopaedic surgeons are the experts in treating spine problems as bone is the major component of spine and others think neurosurgeons are the experts as nerves are very delicate and complicated components of spine.
My aim with the publishing of this blog is mainly to make people aware of the dos and donts for keeping their spine healthy, to help them guide to get the best remedy and treat those who are interested.
I shall periodically publish articles regarding the anatomy of spine, the biomechanics of spine, spine and spinal cord pathologies, various treatment modalities and show some of the patients whom i have treated and operated with the results.Regards
